10 Tips To Quit Sugar


Sugar addiction is a real thing, and quitting it can be just as hard and seemingly impossible, as is the case with any other addiction. To quit eating mouth-watering, sugar-filled treats had been on my agenda for years, but it was only when I was ready to devour a sqeeze bag filled with sugar frosting that I realized its seriousness. I knew it was time to quit, and I succeeded. If you too want to make this decision but are having a hard time, here are 10 things that helped me accomplish my goal:

1. Admitting the Truth:

Accepting your addiction is the first step to quitting. If avoiding a delicious sugary treat can make you cranky, lip-smaking sugar filled treats are your idea of an afternoon snack and cake is the perfect breakfast food in your mind, something clearly isn’t right. Sugar is addictive. Once you are hooked, no matter how much you have, it will never be enough.
